The Musical Vision of Ryan Lucas
Ryan Lucas aims to create meaningful music and educate the youth on the process of music composition and improvisation. Although primarily playing jazz music, he aims to diversify his musical palette through participating in a wide range of music ensembles such as: Ceòl na Teud (Westminster College's Scottish Fiddling Group), Wind Esembles, Symphony Orchestras, Symphonic Bands, and other large and chamber ensembles. After graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School in Jefferson Hills, PA, with musical distinctions in jazz performance, he decided to study Music Education and Performance at Westminster College, PA - where he studies now.
